Bohunt School and its sixth form in Liphook welcomed record-breaking numbers at their recent Open Evenings. At the school, prospective students and their families got to meet staff, explore the facilities, and enjoy live music, science experiments, exotic insects, and a library transformed into Hogwarts.
More than 2,000 visitors attended the school’s ‘Festival of Education’, while the sixth form had an unprecedented 1,093 – both smashed previous years turnouts.
“It was humbling and chest-swelling in equal measure tonight,” said Randall Jull, Head of School. “Our community has voted with their feet – we had thousands come to hear about our record GCSE and A-Level results, understand why Ofsted rated us Outstanding in so many measures, and learn why The Times newspaper placed us in the top 20 comprehensive schools nationally.”
One parent added: “We were blown away by Bohunt. It surpasses any local state secondary school near us by a long way!”
