Molly Fairhead took on her second Skills bout against Bridie Essex-Dobson – a very skilled opponent from Chesham Youth ABC – as Atomic Amateur Boxing Club travelled to Slough.
Both girls boxed very well and added to their experience as they prepare for competitive action.
Coach Shane Carrington said: “Skills bouts are a great way to prepare boxers for a competitive bout.
“It’s a good tool to use to bridge the gap.
“They allow the boxer to grow in confidence and learn from their mistakes and help turn them into a more rounded boxer.”
Atomic also travelled to Luton, where Zacahryus Carrington – known as The Destroyer – took on an opponent a lot older and heavier.
Zac stuck to the game plan and acted on every instruction given, giving an outstanding performance in his second Skills bout where he is progressing nicely.
