Liss Athletic got back to winning ways, putting seven past Hampshire Premier Football League Division One leaders Meon Milton to advance into the League Cup quarter-finals.
An energetic high press in the first half stunned Meon with Elliot Harrison finding the net with a volley and a delightful lob. In between, Clark had headed home from a corner. Charlie Harrison’s pin-point free kick beat the wall and went in off the underside of the bar to give Liss a commanding 4-1 lead with 20 minutes to go, with Mackay slotting home a fifth.
The hosts rallied and pulled two back, but Liss weren’t finished with Stanbridge poking home before Mackay got his second.
