Badshot Lea crashed to a 3-0 defeat at home to Sutton Common Rovers in the Isthmian League South Central Division on Saturday.
Charlie Stallard broke the deadlock at Westfield Lane in the 40th minute with a spectacular strike from 30 yards out.
Troy Walters doubled the visitors’ advantage on 67 minutes, before making it 3-0 in second-half stoppage-time.
Badshot Lea manager Gavin Smith was disappointed with the result.
“We played okay but we were absolutely toothless in the final third,” said Smith.
“There wasn’t really anything in the game until the first goal just before half-time.
“The opposition complimented us after the game, but we can’t keep playing well and losing.
“The lads we’ve got are a talented bunch of lads, but they are a young group and we could do with some experience to compliment them.”
Next up for the Baggies is a trip to Rayners Lane in the Isthmian League South Central Division on Saturday (3pm).
Alton exited the FA Vase with a 3-0 defeat at Millbrook in the second qualifying round on Saturday.
The visitors started brightly and nearly took the lead when Owen Tanner lifted his effort over the bar.
Alton were made to pay for that miss when Bobby Gorman curled a shot into the far corner on 15 minutes to give the hosts the lead.
The Brewers had a good chance to equalise early in the second half, but Scott Sanderson headed over.
Gorman doubled Millbrook’s advantage in the 56th minute, and Connor Bent made it 3-0 on 70 minutes.
Alton manager Kevin Adair was disappointed with his side’s performance.
“We weren’t good enough and ultimately it is down to me to find a solution,” said Adair.
“I’m happy to take the responsibility.”
Alton will host Guildford City in the Combined Counties Premier Division South on Saturday (3pm).
