A GRAND piano which belonged to a musical inspiration and serial fundraiser is set to raise the spirits in a new home.
Ann Pinhey’s treasured piano was removed from her flat above The Square last Wednesday by skilled workers.
It went as it arrived 37 years ago – through the window with both operations being expertly carried out by Causeway firm, Britannia Reeves Removals, with the help of a crane.
The operation took place the day after a funeral in St Peter’s for the 90-year-old conductor, who died in early October.
Her piano has been donated to the Gemini Consort group she founded and will continue to make music in The Cowshed.
