Police have confirmed the identity of a woman they found dead in her Petersfield flat following an incident on Tuesday.

She was Anna Jones, 44, of Station Road, Petersfield. Her next of kin were informed and are being supported by specialist officers.

Anna’s daughter said: “I love my mum. She meant everything to me, she was my world.

“I love you so much, I will always miss you and you will always be in my heart. Rest in peace mummy.”

Police are still carrying out enquiries in relation to this investigation and would like to thank residents for their patience.
