THE FUTURE of a Bordon beauty spot is in safe hands as eight junior rangers have passed a green exam.
Youngsters had to complete a range of conservation and wildlife tasks at the Hogmoor Inclosure and Deadwater Valley sites to receive a John Muir Award.
The ten sessions were overseen by the Deadwater Valley Trust and included pond dipping, campfire cooking, star-gazing, bat walks, woodland maintenance and scientific surveys.
Junior Rangers must complete a set number of hours discovering, conserving, sharing and exploring in order to gain an award.
