A canine charity from East Hampshire has asked runners and athletes to become their pedigree chum by signing up to a Great fundraising event.
Hounds for Heroes has a fetching opportunity for athletes and dog lovers alike as they’ve invited fundraisers to compete in the Great South Run on their behalf.
The charity based in Ramsdean, near Petersfield, still has places available at a reduced rate for the October 24 half-marathon in Southsea and Portsmouth.
The charity trains assistance dogs for seriously injured or disabled military veterans. It was launched by Clanfield man and Gulf War veteran, Allen Parton.
His good cause relies on their wonderful donors, making every penny count to help our heroes to get the support they need.
So make sure to fetch those running shoes and help them make a difference to our heroes’ lives.
