THE PETERSFIELD branch of the Royal British Legion has said a big ‘thank you’ to supporters as they’ve revealed the final total from this year’s local appeal.

An amazing £29,808.90 was donated with the group wanting to publicly thank “the kind people of our town and the surrounding villages” for their generosity.

Branch members also wanted to thank the volunteers who gave their time collecting in all weathers around the town.
