Drivers in and around East Hampshire will have 12 National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And five of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

• A3, from 8pm January 6 to 6am April 26, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A3 both directions Longmoor to Milford, carriageway closure for roadmarkings renewal.

And a further 11 closures will begin over the next two weeks:

• A3, from 8pm April 14 to 6am April 15, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 southbound, Berelands to QE2, Lane closure for maintenance work.

• M3, from 8pm April 14 to 6am April 15, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M3 both directions, junction 5, slip road and lane closure for drainage work.

• A3, from 8pm April 14 to 6am April 18, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 both directions Hindhead Tunnel, Contraflow for tunnel maintenance.

• A3, from 9.30pm April 16 to 6am April 17, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 southbound, Weston, slip road and lane closure for maintenance work.

• A3, from 8pm April 22 to 6am April 24, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A3 northbound, Chalton, carriageway closure for maintenance work.

• M3, from 8pm April 22 to 6am April 25, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M3 northbound, junction 5 to junction 4a, carriageway closure for structures work.

• A3, from 8pm April 23 to 6am April 24, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 northbound, Flexcombe, Lane closure for electrical work.

• A3, from 9.30pm April 23 to 6am April 24, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 southbound, Berelands, slip road and lane closure for maintenance work.

• A3, from 8pm April 24 to 6am April 25, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 southbound, Griggs Green, Slip and lane closure for maintenance works.

• A3, from 9.30pm April 24 to 6am April 25, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3M southbound, junction 2, slip road and hard shoulder closure for maintenance work.

• A3, from 8pm April 28 to 6am April 29, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A3 northbound, Liss to Hambarn, slip road and lane closures for maintenance works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
