A TEENAGER who worked at Old Thorns Manor Hotel was killed after being struck by a London-bound train nearly two weeks ago. Liphook station was closed and services disrupted after the fatal incident.
The 18-year-old victim, Jack Wall, worked as a kitchen porter at Old Thorns in Griggs Green.
Friends have posted numerous messages on Facebook in tribute.
British Transport Police confirmed he was pronounced dead at the scene by South Central Ambulance Service paramedics after the incident involving the 9.45pm Portsmouth-London Waterloo service.
British Transport Police officers and colleagues from Hampshire Constabulary closed off the station until 11.32pm.
A British Transport Police spokesman said: "Officers were called to Liphook rail station, at 10.31pm, on November 17, following a report of a man being hit by a train. It is not being treated as suspicious."
