POLICE are investigating a spate of late-night burglaries in a village south of Petersfield.

Several garages and sheds in the North Lane and Bowes Lane areas of Buriton were broken into overnight last Thursday, February 22.

Tools were among the items stolen while a bike was later recovered from the pond.
