A local coffee business celebrated its one year anniversary in Clanfield at the same place where it all began.
Roxie Tricker’s My Little Coffee Co made its debut at the (then) new South Lane Meadow car park on September 20 in 2023. One year on, Roxie was back at the same spot on the same date, to celebrate the special anniversary with her regulars and their canine companions.
“It's quite special,” Roxie told The Post.
“Being down here, I don’t just have the people from the meadow. I also get people come from off the roadsides, so it's a good location.
“I was born and raised in Clanfield and now I live in Horndean. I couldn't have wished for it to have been as successful as it has been in a year.
“The support from local people, I couldn't have thanked them enough.”
To thank her loyal customers, Roxie gave out a free cake with every hot drink and her presence marked the first time she had been at the meadow in a while.
She has become so well known from being at the meadow that she has been busy at all sorts of events. Including the Petersfield Jazz festival, Romsey Show, Pass the Pedall’s 12-hour charity bike ride, Petersfield Eco Fair and more.
It wasn't just the people who were happy to see Roxie, one dog was so excited to see her that he was the one leading his owner as soon as they were out the car.
The dog’s owner commented that Roxie’s coffee is the perfect treat to have before or after a walk, especially in the colder months when you need to warm up.
Roxie will return to the meadow soon for the chilly months ahead. Stay updated on her socials for when and where she will be next!
