Amery Hill School in Alton sent 45 children from Year 7 to Year 11 to London on April 22 to compete in the TCS London Mini Marathon.
This 1.625-mile race, held the day before the London Marathon, began at Horse Guards Parade where runners set off in waves of 250 at five-minute intervals.
The route went past St James’s Park, Buckingham Palace and Green Park before ending at the main race finish line on The Mall.
Every exhausted but happy Amery Hill pupil received a finisher’s medal.
Head of PE Naomi Jackson said: “We have a very enthusiastic and talented group of runners.”
