GARDENERS in Greatham will be dishing the dirt this week ahead of a showpiece event in the village hall.

This Saturday is judgement day as the Greatham Flower and Produce Show begins at 3pm.

The competition includes more than 50 classes with sections for produce, flowers, handicrafts and flower arranging. 

There’s also a section for children’s handicraft and homecrafts with the show including a raffle, tea and cakes, entry 50p for adults.
