A TEENAGER was airlifted to King's College Hospital in London with spinal injuries following a riding accident at Henley, near Fernhurst.
South East Coast Ambulance Service was called out at noon on May 6 and sent a car and an ambulance to assist the 13-year-old girl. SECAmb called the air ambulance, which landed in a field close to the scene and the patient was immediately flown for specialist treatment.
Meanwhile, a Jack Russell dog was trapped under a shipping container outside an office and warehouse in Midhurst Road, Fernhurst on Tuesday but was rescued by emergency services.
