Greg Stafford is the inaugural MP for Farnham & Bordon as the Conservative narrowly came ahead of Liberal Democrat hopeful Khalil Yousuf with Labour’s Alex Just in third.
Jeremy Hunt survived a scare to edge Paul Fellows in the Godalming & Ash count with the Conservative being tipped to lose his place to the Liberal Democrat throughout the night.
And blue remains the colour in East Hampshire with Damian Hinds seeing off a spirited Dominic Hughes in a campaign that was often too close to call.
The Liberal Democrats had a good night, with Danny Chambers comfortably winning in Winchester while the party also triumphed in North East Hampshire and Woking.
Aldershot went to Labour while Tory Andrew Griffith kept his Arundel and South Downs seat to remain the MP for The Hartings, Rogate, Fernhurst, Milland the Rother Valley.
