Meyer and Meyer Sport has published The Intermediate Archer: Everything They Didn’t Tell You in the Beginner’s Course by Farnham’s Ben Hastings.
Ben is a member and senior coach at Farnham Archers, one of the oldest archery clubs in the country. His students range from beginner to Grand Master Bowman – and he has set up an after-school archery club at Weydon School.
Liz Evans of Meyer and Meyer Sport said: “Meyer and Meyer’s books are all about providing the very best in expert advice. Ben’s The Intermediate Archer is a great addition to our range of how-to sports books and is a must-have for any beginner looking to progress their archery journey. We can’t wait to hear the feedback from those that have a chance to put Ben’s advice into practice.”
Ben Hastings’ interest in archery was piqued at a young age when he was allowed to string and unstring his elder brother’s longbow. Ben now regularly shoots freestyle, barebow and flatbow target archery. He is an Archery GB Level 2-licensed coach and has coached for several years.
Of his first book, Ben said: “It’s been quite a journey but one helped quite considerably by advice, information and encouragement from fellow archers and coaches and the keen support of Meyer and Meyer.”
