The couple have become the “life and soul” of the village centre since taking over Jade News in October 1987.
But they’ve decided not to renew the lease with four decades of trade and 4am starts coming to a close this Saturday.
Villagers can say ‘thank you’ to the pair for their tireless and cheerful service at the Triangle centre this Sunday.
Customers and friends of the couple are throwing a special tea party for Eddie and Lisa from 4.30pm to 6pm, all welcome. The search for a new leaseholder continues.
