Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks is holding an exhibition about the next stage of its £10.6 million upgrade between Bordon and Alton.
It covers three phases of work in Mill Chase Road and will take place at The Shed in Bordon on July 20 from 4pm to 8pm.
Phase one, from Hollywater Road to Hamilton Close, is scheduled from July 24 to 31.
Phase two is from Hollybrook Park to Meadow View, with work taking place between August 17 and September 5.
And phase three, from Meadow View to Hollywater Road, will be completed between September 6 and December 6.
Project manager Martin Powel said: “I’d like to thank the community of Bordon for their patience and understanding as we carry out this significant upgrade to their power supplies.
“The project is progressing well and we are about to enter the next section of works.
“As this will involve temporary traffic management, we want to extend a welcome to all of those who can attend our engagement event on July 20, where I and my team will be on hand to talk through the works and answer any questions people might have.
“All of these measures have been carefully planned with both Highways England and Hampshire County Council to ensure that the potential for noise or disruption has been minimised.
“To further update local residents, business owners and interested parties, Scottish and Southern Electricity Network’s project page provides information on the works as they progress, along with easy-to-access points of contact, and can be found at www.ssen.co.uk/alton-bordon-network-investment”
More than 30,000 East Hampshire homes and businesses will benefit from this project.
