Farnham’s former MP was given £4,000 to speak at a recent charity event.
But that’s only donation that Jeremy Hunt received between August 5 and October 28 according to the Register of MP Financial Interests.
Publishing firm Chartwell Partners Ltd paid the Godalming and Ash MP the sum on October 14 for the two-hour engagement at the Nesta UK Policy Live Event.
MPs are required to declare donations and financial interests but Hunt only made one during the aforementioned period according to the parliament document.
Neither Farnham & Bordon MP, Gregory Stafford, or his East Hampshire or Arundel & South Downs counterparts, Damian Hinds and Andrew Griffith, made a declaration over the same period.
Labour’s Aldershot MP, Alex Baker, received a £5,000 individual donation in early September while the Liberal Democrat MP for Winchester, Danny Chambers, declared a £1,475 donation by the National Liberal Club during the September 3 to 30 period.
