East Hampshire Police have vowed to put the brakes on anti-social drivers over the coming weeks after speeding came top in a survey of district concerns.
Officers have made tackling speeding their top current priority with fly-tipping and burglary (other) being the second and third highest-rated concerns, respectively.
People who completed online surveys over the last three months also want the police to take more action taken on littering and road safety.
The Longmoor Neighbourhood Policing Team have also handed out warning letters to people riding e-scooters around Whitehill and Bordon.
Letters were handed out during an anti-social behaviour patrol which also visited Lindford, Liphook and Liss, as it’s illegal to ride a privately-owned e-scooter on a public road, cycle way or pavement.
People who are caught riding an e-scooter on a public road by the police are handed a warning letter, with officers having the power to seize the vehicle from repeat offenders.
