STAFF at the Curtis Museum and the Allen Gallery in Alton are yet to find out if they will be among up to 20 Hampshire Cultural Trust employees who could lose their jobs as the charity seeks to cut costs.
A Hampshire Cultural Trust spokesperson said: “We are in the very early stages of a two-way consultation process with those members of staff at Hampshire Cultural Trust whose roles are at risk of redundancy.
“Until that consultation process is complete, we are unable to confirm which venues are affected. However, we are not planning to close any venues as part of this process.”
The charity has 210 staff. The consultation began on January 16 and will be completed by February 6.
