Getting older is a natural part of life, but poor care shouldn’t be. This is what one pair decided after finding the right support to care for their own ageing relatives, a confusing, inconsistent, and often inadequate experience.
In Home Care, founded in 2011 by Claire Simmons and Paul Reynolds, was born out of frustration with the lack of high-quality, compassionate care for elderly relatives. They wanted to start a company that set a new benchmark in domiciliary care.
The company’s mission remains rooted in its founding vision: to provide care that empowers individuals to live independently in their own homes, regardless of age or circumstance. Originally focused on elderly care, In Home Care has since expanded its services to support children, individuals with autism, and those with learning disabilities, tailoring its approach to meet the unique needs of every client.
Claire and Paul attribute much of their success to their dedicated team, particularly in Haslemere, where the annual Christmas Raffle recently raised more than £1,000 for Haslemere Hospital.
“We are truly thankful to everyone who supported this fundraiser,” Claire said. “The dedication of our team, alongside the generosity of local businesses and individuals, is what makes achievements like this possible. Together, we’ve not only raised funds but also strengthened the community spirit that lies at the heart of everything we do.”
Haslemere Hospital Chairman Rose Parry, said: “The sum of money you have raised for us in your Christmas Raffle is incredible. The generosity of your organisation and clients who considered our charity to benefit by this donation is appreciated by us and Haslemere Hospital. The proceeds are going to be invested in an up-to-date Electro Cardiac Machine for the Minor Injuries department. Once the machine is purchased, we will arrange for a photograph to be taken for everyone to see.”
