A FORMER England international and a record-breaking goalkeeper are among the Pompey Legends coming to Liss for a fundraising match this weekend.

The champions will be in town this Sunday, May 12, as Liss Athletic will take on a host of ex-Portsmouth players in a fundraising friendly at their Newman Collard ground.

The Hampshire League club want to raise £3,750 to supplement Football Foundation Funding for new pitch maintenance equipment to benefit all age groups.

Darren Anderton, Svetoslav Todorov, Alan Knight and Guy Butters are among the confirmed names for the 2pm fixture with programmes costing £3 to include raffle entry.
