A BMW driver failed to stop following a collision on the A3 south of Petersfield on Bank Holiday Monday.

Police are appealing for witnesses and dash cam footage after a white BMW and dark-coloured Volvo V40 came into collision on the southbound A3 at Blendworth around 2.30pm.

No injuries were reported following the incident a few hundred yards north of the Horndean A3(M) Junction 1.

The motorist who did not stop at the scene may have been travelling alongside another driver in a blue BMW.

Anyone who saw either car driving along the A3 prior or after the collision, or has relevant dashcam footage, is asked to call Hampshire Police on 101 quoting reference 44260245671.
