A MAN in his 80s suffered minor injuries in a collision involving three cars and a large lorry at the London Road junction in Hindhead.
As a result of last Thursday’s collision a Seat car was pushed into scaffolding at the former telephone exchange, which is being converted into flats.
The incident occurred at 12.56pm and involved an articulated lorry, a white Fiat, a grey Subaru, and the blue Seat.
A South East Coast Ambulance Service spokesman said: “One ambulance crew attended after receiving reports a car had gone into some scaffolding.
“We treated a man aged approximately in his 80s. He was stable and fully conscious, but was complaining of suffering some back pain. He was immobilised as a safety precaution and taken to Royal Surrey County Hospital.”
Anyone who witnessed the collision should call Surrey Police on 101.
